Why I love Kroger

Like I said in our menu plan, we aren't going to be home for 1/2 of the week so I'm not going to do any "grocery" shopping. I did run to Kroger tonight to take advantage of their current Procter and Gamble promotion and I am so glad I did. Here's what I picked up. 24 items for $5.75! *before tax

Here's the breakdown:

Gillette Body Wash - $3.50

use the $3/2 e-coupon
use the bogo from the 5/02 PG
use the $1/2 from the 5/02 PG
-$2 for the promotion
Final Cost: 2.50 in overage!

CoverGirl EyeShadow - $2.24
-$2/1 bzzagent coupons
-$1 promotion
Final Cost: $0.76 in overage! (I had 4 of these)

As you can see here, the OJ alone would have cost me $9.52 without my overage!

Everything else: $0.17 satin care shave gel, $0.27 gillette shave gel, $0.14 lip gloss, Tropicana OJ $1.88 each, yogurt $0.36 each, taco packets free, febreze $0.49 each.

Total before sale and coupons: $58.11
Total Spent: $5.75 + $2.19 in tax
Total Saved: $52.36 or 90%!

Just shows you that it PAYS to shop at Kroger :) Today is the last day for the promotion so get out there and get your overage!
