Amazing Macaroni and Cheese


This is the best Mac n Cheese you will ever eat. I'm not kidding. It is FAB-O! My Aunt's mother in law Zandra shared this recipe with me after she made it for us a few weeks ago. I was in heaven. I'm all about healthy, I really am, but sometimes you just need fab. And this, my friends, is it. Want to add some crunch? Make just like below, pour into a 13x9 pan and add some plain Panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese to the top - bake on 350 for 20 minutes and serve. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

*The original recipe is a crock pot recipe but my crockpot nukes everything you put in it so I made it in my big red pot.
Ingredients
8 or 12 oz Elbow noodles (I used Wacky Mac bc I had a ton that I got for free)
1 can evaporated milk
1 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 stick butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk or half/half (if putting in the crock pot use 1 1/2 cups)
1 egg, beaten

Boil noodles, set aside. Combine everything else in a large pot (or crockpot).
Turn heat on medium and add nooodles, stir to combine.
Let sit at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
