Good Earth Review and a Giveaway! - Closed!

Have you heard of Good Earth Dinners? I hadn't until MyBlogSpark contacted me to offer one of you an opportunity to win one of their prize packs. I am so excited to tell ya'll about this because the one I was sent was absolutely delicious! Seriously. I wanted to eat half the pot by myself :) I thought it had a great, restaurant quality taste and everyone at the table inhaled theirs. Remember this post? Well, this is one of those 'boxed' products that we can actually feel good about feeding our family. A little funny story. I never 'fry' anything. Seriously, I'm not really sure I would even know how to deep fry something. As a step in the kit you have to season the chicken breast and lightly brown them in olive oil. My toddler came in to the kitchen and said, "Mom, what is that sound?" I said, "I'm frying some chicken for dinner." He then said, "what's frying mean?" Too funny. Needless to say this dinner was not only delicious but educational for my little one :)
With appetizing entrées from Good Earth, dining in is sure to become the new dining out. Enjoy cooking a sophisticated, restaurant-quality meal in the comfort of your own home. Each variety includes vibrant and flavorful sauces along with specialty ingredients like sweet basil, white wine and dried tomatoes. Delicious dinners that allow you to keep a healthy lifestyle without sacrificing taste, Good Earth dry dinner kits are perfect for whipping up a no-fail, five-star cuisine in less than 30 minutes.
100% whole grain, no trans fat, no artificial flavors, no artificial preservatives, no MSG - just add meat and, voila! Dinner is served.

Coming to stores this June, Good Earth dry dinner kits offer a selection of four delectable meals: Mediterranean Chicken with angel hair pasta, Spicy Citrus Glazed Shrimp with angel hair pasta, Herb Crusted Chicken with mushroom risotto and Tuscan Chicken with penne pasta.

Would you like to win a Good Earth gift pack that includes a Good Earth Mediterranean Chicken dry dinner kit, two sets of bamboo flatware, two bamboo dishes, a bamboo utility board and a 100% recyclable grocery tote?

If so, you know the drill:

1) Leave any comment about what you're first thoughts about this new product are
2) Leave a SEPARATE comment telling me you follow, if you do, or follow on the right hand side

I might, kindasorta, secretly wish I could keep the other box for myself... Best of luck and have a great weekend!

*MyBlogSpark and General Mills provided me with this fabulous giveaway, the opinion, however, is completely mine.

My first thought was that this looks a lot like the Macaroni Grill box dinner kits.

I like that it is a dinner kit that doesn't have all the nasty MSG etc. Hard to find.

I like the fact that it's quick, but still nutritious....something we're looking for amidst packing boxes for our move 8 hrs away! :-)

My first thought is that it would be a great "emergency" dinner kit to have at the house when we don't feel like cooking.
