Garlic Cream Cheese Cornbread

I like to experiment with boxed mixes and turn them into something that tastes anything but from a box! If you have a homemade recipe, you could easily just add the "extra" ingredients to that. Use this in place of your usual bread or cornbread with soups and stews.

Ingredients
1 package corn bread or muffin mix, prepared as directed with milk and egg
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I used 2%)
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup cream cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Mix corn muffin mix as directed on package. To that mixture, add remaining ingredients. Bake on 400 in a 8 inch cast iron skillet or in a 6 muffin pan for 5 minutes longer than directed on package. Middle should puff up and split when done. Slice and Enjoy!
