Honey Bun Cake - Day 9

Oh friends. Have you had this cake before? If not - please promise me you'll try it. You know those ridiculously sinful honey buns? The kind that you find in vending machines but feel way to guilty to eat on a regular basis? Yep. This tastes just like that. I'm pretty excited about this for breakfast. Did I say that out loud?

Honey Bun Cake
Ingredients
1 package Yellow Cake Mix
¾ cups Vegetable Oil
4 whole Eggs
1 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

Icing
2 cups Powdered Sugar
4 Tablespoons Milk
1 Tablespoon Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream. Mix with a mixer until most large lumps are gone. Pour half of the batter into an ungreased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the batter in the cake pan, crumbling by hand. Spoon the other half of the batter into the cake pan, covering the brown sugar and cinnamon. Take your knife or spoon and swirl everything around in a figure 8 pattern. Bake for 40 minutes. Poke holes in the cake and frost cake with icing while it is still warm.
