Day 3: Clean Your Washer and Dryer
Today we're going to clean our washer and dryer. First, put a 1/2 cup baking soda followed by 1 cup of vinegar in your washing machine. Once you've finished admiring your science experiment, set your washer to a small load and on the hottest water setting and run through a normal wash cycle. This will help deodorize and clean the inside of your washer. Meanwhile, remove the lint keeper from the dryer and wash with hot water until all lint is completely removed and allow to air dry on the counter. Then, take a hot rag and wipe down the exterior of both your washing machine and your dryer. If you'll look closely (or not so closely on mine!) you can see dust and lint build up around the tops and edges of your machines. Once the washing cycle is finished and lint drawer is dry, return to laundry business as usual!
