Saturday Savings 2/26

I was able to go Kroger shopping on the way back from seeing our in-laws this past weekend. I did one trip in Cabot, Ar and the bulk of my shopping at both stores in Conway, Ar. Overall I only spent $35 for 78 items (50 were mega sale) and that is including tax! Overall I saved 82%. I was especially excited about the $0.88 batteries and bought 8 packs. I also bought some marked down produce and milk.
I also got in on some of the Target Freezer sales. I bought 21 Smart Ones and paid $6.80 - not too shabby for freezer meals, something I NEVER buy because I think I can make those things cheaper at home. But $6.80 for 21 lunches sounded pretty good to me!
How did you do this week? Share with us!

I tried the SmartOnes deal at Target this week. There were PEELIES on some of the packages! I selected 3 of them with the peelie. Used a 4.00 smart ones coupon, a 5.00 off target coupon, and they just kept scanning the 3.00 off peelies until it was FREE!!! Well, .25cents for all ten. I'm not sure why the computer let them take all of the 3.00 peelies....but, I went back and did it 3 more times. 40 Smart Ones for 1.00!!! Amazing!

wow! I'm thoroughly impressed!! That happened to me once with the Bertolli Pasta Sauce hang tags for Buy 2, Get 1 Free. She just kept ringing them up as free and I didn't realize until I got home. I went back to the customer service desk in an attempt to pay for what I hadn't been charged for and the manager told me to enjoy the extra savings! I love Target!!
