1) You add it at the beginning of the cycle instead of the end where others recommend. I don't know about y'all but I NEVER remember to add anything once the wash cycle has started.
2) It does not repel water. Most liquid fabric softeners are oil based and will actually put a film on your towels making them less absorbent.
3) It has no affect on Children's sleepwear-there is no impact on the flame-retardant benefit that is usually affected by liquid softeners.
Still not convinced? Head over here for more great information and have access to a $1/1 coupon to try Purex Crystal Softeners for yourself! You can also grab a $1/1 coupon here and snag these as part of the $2 Register Reward deal at Walgreens this month.
I was provided a sample from Purex to try but these opinions are 100% honest and mine :)

I've seen this stuff but wasn't sure about it. I'm glad you reviewed it for all of us skeptics. Would be thrilled to try it!
I also wondered about the product when I saw it as a Walgreens deal this week. I usually just use dryer sheets (over and over), because I don't like the residue left on clothing from liquid softeners. I'll usually give anything a try once, especially if it is cheap or FREE!
Purex Complete Crystals Fabric Softener sounds so much better than liquid fabric softener :) *Thanks* for the giveaway!

Thanks for the review. I always hesitate to purchase things I haven't tried before or if no one I know has tried it. I'm always afraid it won't be worth the money. I've printed the coupons so maybe I can take advantage of a good deal. Also, I love your site and use it every week for the match ups. Thanks for the hard work!
Thanks for the review!
I saw this at Walgreens and wanted to try it but was worried!
I've printed out a coupon but haven't used it yet. I wasn't sure if it would be worth it or not, but your review makes me want to try it!
have heard great things about this, will look for it at store
I love this product. And I love the fact that you can add it at the beginning of the wash cycle and not worry about remembering to add to the rinse cycle (oh, how many times have I gone downstairs to my laundry room to add softener, only to find that it wasn't quite ready yet!)
I haven't used this product but your review makes me want to try it.

I haven't tried it but it looks like it would be something I would like
I would love to try this new product. Honestly "real crystals" sounds a bit cheesy to me and makes me want to doubt their claims, but I'd love to be proved wrong!
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope I win! :-)
Just grabbed my first bottle from wags tonight!!! I think they seem like a fantastic idea. Purex has become one of my fav laundry brands!!!!
I bought this at Rite aid this week-end. I think it's strange that the first 2 ingredients are sugar and clay. Weird! But better than chemicals I can't pronounce.
