Cherry Pie Coffee Cake

This is a very rich, delicious cake that will stay moist for as long as it lasts in your kitchen - so good and super easy!
Cherry Pie Coffee Cake
Ingredients
1 White Cake Mix
3 Eggs or 4 egg whites
1/3 cup oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/4 cups water
1 can Cherry Pie Filling

Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 Tbs milk

Mix icing ingredients with mixer, about 1 minute, set aside. In a large bowl mix cake mix through water on medium speed, about 2 minutes until fluffy. Stir in cherry pie filling, pour into a 9x13 pan and bake 35-40 minutes on 350. When finished baking, poke holes in cake and pour icing over caking, spreading evenly to cover entire top of cake. Allow to cool, slice and enjoy!

Want a more prominent cherry pie presentation? Pour cake batter into baking pan and then swirl pie filling on top of that before baking instead of mixing in the batter.

Want to make your own white cake without the mix? Use this recipe and add the cinnamon and cherry pie filling to this:

White Cake Batter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 cups milk
