Attitude of Gratitude - Day 18

Let me tell y'all something. You may think you have the best husband in the world but I promise you, I do. I love my husband so much. He is such a kind, Godly man and he inspires me to be a better wife and mother on a daily basis. He is so patient with me, so serving - he is proud to exhibit so many qualities that are considered old-fashioned or ridiculous in present times. Just last week, while I was out having a fun time at a Girl's Night Out, he was taking care of our boys, giving them their baths, putting them to bed and then spent the rest of his evening cleaning the kitchen and mopping the floors so that it would bless me when I walked in the door. And do you know why he does this? Because it is actually the desire of his heart to serve and bless me.

Is he perfect? Far from it! But he does seek the One who is. What more could a girl ask for.

"Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ's love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They're really doing themselves a favor—since they're already "one" in marriage. " Ephesians 5:25-28, The Message
