Cranberry Walnut Crescents - Day 7

As I told you in this post, the basic vanilla dough is so versatile! You are going to love having it as a base to build your creativity on! Here is my twist on a fun cookie that would be beautiful on any tray or as part of a cookie exchange. Be sure to chop the walnuts and craisins well so that you have an even distribution of flavor.
Cranberry Walnut Crescents

Ingredients
1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
1 cup walnuts, shopped
1/2 tsp orange juice or zest (optional)
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Mix Vanilla Dough as directed. Stir in Cranberries, Walnuts and orange juice/zest if desired. Take teaspoon size amounts of dough, roll into a rope and then bend into a crescent.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until very lightly browned. While still warm, but not right out of the oven, roll in powdered sugar. Enjoy!
